Who we are

Gillian Kenward, the Founder and Director of Meraki Star Consulting, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD) and has over 20 years’ experience working in global FTSE 100 companies as a HR Business Partner, supporting diverse manufacturing, commercial, medical, R&D and service organisations. 

During this time, Gillian has led HR teams and partnered and coached senior leaders and Executive team members. 

Gillian is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), is an accredited NLP practioner as well as accredited in Team Management Systems (TMSDI), Clarity 4D and Social Styles, which she uses in her work to support individuals and teams unlock their potential.
Gillian has an extensive breadth of HR experience which has seen her:
  • lead several global transformation projects
  • partner with charities and internal teams to develop and direct a number of development and training programmes
  • support business integration and start up projects
  • lead on team development and new team start up activities
  • drive global talent agendas, recruit senior leaders and specialist roles
  • undertake employee engagement activities 
  • co-develop culture creation and cultural evolution work for new and existing organisations
  • use Insights Discovery to unlock individual and team potential
  • implement well-being and resilience programmes
  • be a coach, mentor and Thought Partner to senior leaders, Executive team members and key talent
Gillian has a proven track record of unlocking the potential in individuals, teams and organisations.  

As a business partner, she constantly delivers on the business priorities, and is recognised for her strong interpersonal skills, her warmth, compassion, sense of fun and authentic style. She also has the rare ability to balance the needs of the business with the needs of its employees. As a coach, Gillian has a holistic approach and cares about those she works with.
